An Orchestral Celebration of His Repertoire

Singer-songwriter and iconic figure in music history, Sting has enjoyed an extraordinary career. From his years with The Police to a celebrated solo career, his songs have left their mark on generations, blending rock, melodic sophistication and timeless emotion.

The Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke, in co-production with the Centre culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke, presents a symphonic reimagining of this legendary repertoire, featuring songs such as Englishman in New York, Roxanne, If You Love Somebody Set Them Free and Every Breath You Take. These iconic works take on a new dimension, enriched by the power of the orchestra and the rock band Too Many Cooks.

Led by Richard D’Anjou and Dan Georgesco, the Sherbrooke-based group brings an energy and vocal character that faithfully evoke Sting’s musical universe.

Joining this exceptional musical ensemble is the incomparable Lulu Hughes. This renowned artist, who was also the group’s backing vocalist for many years, will captivate the audience with the power and sensitivity of her exceptional voice.

This special concert brings together the worlds of symphonic music and rock in a celebration of a legendary repertoire — a spectacular, nostalgic and deeply unifying evening.
